Letter to Andrew Adams at Litchfield. Pierce writes about actions taken to obtain the loyalty of the Indians for the colonists cause. He writes of a conference between 600 Indians and General Philip Schuyler. Pierce describes the methods of Indian speech and a large dance that was held by them. He also states why he believes the Indians will not remain loyal to Guy Johnson.
